…your home from home
La Cordonnerie is an 18th century village house, sensitively restored and retaining the character of a long history. Probably first used by a shoemaker, it now has a comfortable sitting/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric and microwave ovens and a dishwasher. The two bedrooms each have an ensuite, with a bath/shower for the double bedroom upstairs and a shower for the twin room downstairs. A washing machine and tumble drier are in a ‘cave’ below the outside terrace.
Set in a small hamlet nestling in fields and woods, La Cordonnerie has access to the 12 metre swimming pool and large garden of the main house next door. The gite has its own shady garden and two terraces, one containing the barbecue, and garden furniture and parasols are provided for summer dining. The south-facing windows look out over an idyllic setting of fields and trees.
The house has UK and French TV, a Blue-Ray DVD player and a CD player, and there is a selection of local maps and guides.
